very thick and heavy - almost too heavy for walkway in kitchen - trip over it! But is is a beauiful rug- we will have to get used to it's thickness! Is much thicker than waterhog rug I have by slider.
This rug was promoted as good for kids and dogs and it is not. The dogs catch their claws on the rugs and there are pulls all over. One is in the entry way from the garage so it gets dirty foot traffic. It is impossible to clean - I tried steam cleaning, hand scrubbing, etc to no avail. It has a deep texturing which is good for catching dirt, but then it doesn't want to give it up! Yes, it is a light color, but again, the description said easy to clean and it is not.
So far, so good. I've only had it two weeks, so I can't comment on durability. It is winter in Illinois right now and although lots of wet boots have walked over this rug (it sits at my front door) it still looks clean. I purchased the wheat color, so it is not just due to darkness.
