I purchased this item several months ago and as soon as it arrived I questioned the quality. It looked cheaply made. I purchased the natural color and I could tell right away this will attract some serious dirt. I've had this rug next to my bed and so this is not exactly a high traffic area. It has shown wear and tear and it's impossible to get clean. I think this would be fine for a garage, porch or basement area but I just think it's poor quality. I'm considering to send it back.
ProsDurable, Great Value, tends to collect dog hair
This is a nice durable rug, but with 2 problems. First, it is almost impossible to clean dog hair off it, because it sticks to it more than a usual rug, and 2, I have a new hardwood floor and the undersurface is a bit rough, which is good for not slipping, but risky for a new finish. I have a yellow lab, and her hair shows up on anything that is not her color. I can usually vacuum it, but the weave on this makes it stick.
Great color and nice design. However, the loops pull out easily. The pile is inserted in a manner that allows an entire row to be pulled out of the rug if one loop is caught by a pet, child, or other means. If you have dogs and they have access to the rug, consider another purchase. I'll be returning mine.
This rug is wonderful. We have a vacation rental home in Maine with hardwood floors and put 3 of these rugs (8X10) in the bedrooms of that home 2 years ago. They are attractive, thick, and keep your feet warm! We just bought a house in Florida with all tile floors. I just ordered 2 of these rugs for my daughters bedrooms. They are easy to clean and very durable. I will be ordering 4 more for other areas of the house. They look like more expensive rugs and stand up to alot of foot traffic!
