I use this rug at my back entrance. I like everything about it but the color. I didn't realize the color green would be so drab. It looks just like army green (ugh).
The rug itself is very attractive and I like the fern border design. If I had to buy it again, I would choose a prettier hue. LL Bean, how about offering some true colors like cobalt, emerald green, and red?
Yes, I could have sent the rug back but chose not to do so. Really, I've only myself to blame.
PS: The rug is showing no signs of wear. I think it will outlive me.
Love this rug! It is the fourth one I have purchased over the years. Great quality and extremely durable. It is placed in my family room and stands up to the heavy traffic of family and dogs. Easy to spot clean as well, so it continues to look great over time. Would definitely recommend!
I have 2 old ones of this rug that I have used for a couple years as my entry rugs. They have been great, so I ordered a new one for my back door. It came defective (see my earlier review). I assumed this was just my bad luck, so I sent it back and re-ordered another one. It too was received defective. I have attached a photo and you can see the earlier review for the earlier defect. In both rugs, the border has knots in it that are just cut off at 1/8 inch or less so with even a little wear and vacuuming they will unravel. So this one is going back. I am very unhappy. Until LLBEAN correct this qulity issue, I would not recommend buying this item.
I. have owned 2 of these for over a year and they have worn very well.
I ordered a third one for my back entry door and it arrived defective. There was no problem sending it back for free to LLbean because I have an LLBean charge card. I will re-order because I hope it is better made, but am disappointed in the quality of this third rug and am wondering if Llbean is having it manufactured by someone else.

Otherwise, I enjoy doing business with Llbean and have been a satisfied customer for many many years.
