The rug is well made, the color is deep and rich. Mine is not located where there is a lot of foot traffic, so I can't address it's durability, but the loops are vulnerable to being pulled. I purchased this one to replace a rug which had sustained this damage from a dog's nails.
I have been thinking about buying this rug for awhile. LLBean had a sale and so I decided to go for it. It came well wrapped and smoothed out easily. It is very attractive in the natural color and I had to wipe up a spill which went well. I can't say that I see the snags other reviewers did but that happened also on my last rug which was not from Bean.
I NEVER expected to have the rug so quickly!!! They were super nice to order from in the store and the service was outstanding. The quality of the rug is excellent as well. LLBean is the BEST!!!!
The rug is wonderfully soft, thick and well made, the color is exactly as I expected and overall it is a very handsome rug! The rug was described as: 'Long-wearing rug is great for homes with kids or pets - Stands up to spills, stains and heavy foot traffic - Durable construction for years of use'. It sounds like it would be ruff 'n tuff - which is what I needed. It did not mention that it was a loop rug that could pull easily. Within one hour of my laying it out in a high traffic area, it had a pull in it. I'm not sure how it happened, but that doesn't equate with it's description at all. I have only had it for a short time, maybe that one pull was a fluke. I am curious to see if it gets more or actually performs as described. But, after all that, I still think it is a beautiful rug.
