I use these shorts only for fitness swimming and I can't say that I've taken very good care of them...chlorinated water, drying in the sun, every day. However, they've lasted for almost 650,000 yards of plowing up and down a pool or almost a full year of daily abuse. The pair I order today will be my third.
I have two pairs of these shorts and I swim in chlorine a couple miles a week. They've lasted a good long time. They're starting to show some wear, but only after a lot of use. I've also been surprised at how well they've held their color. Now that they are at the end of their useful life expectancy I will be buying more.
These sport shorts or swimsuit is fantastic. They are great for not loosing there color and they last a long time and fit wonderful. My son is a Special Olympic Athlete and he is in the water constantly and it is chlorine water so the swimsuit is very very good. I wished they had, had an xl for his father.
Comfortable -- but when used in a swimming pool the color fades rapidly. Had a black pair which is now a light shade of green. Now using a navy pair, but it too is losing its color.
