I ordered these shorts and quickly sent them back because in my opinion they were a little too puffy looking. It's probably just a personal preference, and there's nothing wrong with them from a quality standpoint... I just didn't like the style.
Simply the best. These shorts have taken me on numerous hikes, visits to national landmarks, above average exposure to blazing sun and cold water. Not once have I ever had an issue with the fabric fading, or the internal brief tear or wear out. As I've aged, my son says I now wear clothing that is simple, looks comfortable and looks good on me. I agree. Simplify your life and summer clothing needs by purchasing a pair or two of Supplex Sport Shorts. I believe Sandstone is the best color offered. I am 5'8 and weigh 130lbs. I purchased the small size but I really can't wear them. They waist fits very loosely and the drawstring does not help at all in my case. I have recently purchased their "Swift River Shorts" size small and they fit me great.
I needed to replace my long time favorite Gamma shorts used for racquetball and weekend knock around wear. They stopped the 5 - 6 inseam and the LLB was the only short inseam with a secure back pocket (total 3 pockets) I could find. Quality was good and overall fit was good, but the waistband was terrible. I have a 32-33 inch waist and the waistband was very weak. It is an almost losing battle keeping the pants on. It was the same with all four pairs purchased. The back pocket is important to me, I will suffer with these until I find another short. I also took out the liner. I do not see this as a bathing suit.
