I am so disappointed in the quality of these slippers. I have been buying them for years and absolutely LOVED them about 5 years ago. I had two pair of brown and they had worn down on the inside. I decided to try the graphite color. I purchased them last August, but didn't start wearing them until the winter. Already they have worn out in the toe. Completely poked right through. I am going to exchange them and HOPE I just got a bad pair. However, reading some of the recent reviews, it sounds like they just are not made as well as they were previously. I have come to expect the BEST from LLBean and so I truly hope this is an anomaly for me. Will write when I get the exchange and see how they are.
I've been wearing these slippers for years and after wearing out my second pair I ordered this pair. I was shocked at how thin and flimsy the leather was. The fleece was thick but the leather is very poor quality. These have always been great slippers but not any more. I'm returning them and I'll have to shop elsewhere to find better quality.
I tried dozens of nicknames and word combinations to get a nickname that hadn't been used before finding something it would accept so I could post this review because the unique one I always use had already been used by someone else (ME!). That's one way to discourage people from posting reviews.
I ordered the chocolate brown clogs in Jan 2014 and loved them! I literally had no complaints until the rubber sole separated from the right shoe, at which I sent them back for a replacement pair. I received the 2'nd pair two days ago, and could tell right away there was a difference in quality. The new clog's material seems to be inferior to the pair that I returned. You can pinch the fabric together very easily and when you gently touch the top of shoe, a crease appears in the suede - indicative if it being very thin. Additionally, the sheepskin is coming out - something that never happened with my first pair.
So sad that I had to return my first pair - I loved them so much!!!! Unfortunately, these will be going back too.
Been wearing these for years. I work from home and wear these almost every day. Sole gives a lot of support. Notice my back starts hurting if I don't have these. Even take them when I am on vacation to wear in my downtime.
