These are beyond expectations in sole thickness, quality,, comfort and style. My big concern with size was null; the Size 8 does fully fit my 8.5 wider barefoot. Post a few days wearing, regular thickness socks on feet wear welll, snug, not lose. The leather does stretch and comform to your feet --this was my big concern since we get used to all the great techie fabrics which do not conform to the body. The sole is wonderful to the joints and spine on tile floors. This looks more a casual shoe than a slipper. Considering a 2nd pair for non-domestic ventures!
Have had a pair of these "clog/slippers" for more than 8 years. I bought myself another pair a few years ago just to introduce a new color to my toes. The original pair are still warming and walking strong. Because they have become such a favorite, over the years I have gifted them numerous times. Always loved and well received.
I got these in brown as an xmas gift and I loved them so much I went and bought another pair in gray/graphite. They are so warm and so comfy. I never want to take them off
I have worn this style clog for over 10 years now & loved them. In the past four years I have had to return three pairs of them. I ordered/exchanged a pair in October 2014. The left clog has almost no shearling left on the inside heel & the toes. I am very careful with my clogs and they are not abused. I am now returning the pair I purchased in October. Yes, LL Bean has an excellent exchange policy & is allowing me to get another new pair...which I do appreciate. I'm hopeful the quality of the new clogs is better than my past two pair. LL Bean, what has happened? Are you using a new vendor? The new clogs don't wear well at all. Better quality control is needed for these now or a vendor change. I would love to recommend them, but seeing as how fast these wore, I can't do that at this time. Please bring back the old ones. They were fantastic!
