So excited to receive these, but sorely (pun intended!) disappointed by them. The binding on the vamp is very tight and has no give at all. For something that should be soft and comfortable, these are absolutely painful. So back they go - at my cost. It's ridiculous that while shipping is free, returns cost you $6.50. So choose carefully, and definitely NOT these!!
I really love these slippers. The toe bed is wide without being too wide. The support is great. The lining is so comfy. They are really beautiful too. But, they are a 1/2 size too small. I wear an 8 in a shoe and bought a size 8 knowing that they might be too short. I had to return them and can't buy a 9 because i know from past experience they would just slide off. Very disappointed. Its so needed to offer slippers in half sizes.
I purchased my 4th pair of these slippers. I have loved the previous ones that I completely wore out. This pair is not the same as the others. The band on the top of one shoe does not 'give'. I thought maybe that they needed to be broken in. I wore all day and by the end of the day the top of my foot was extremely sore. I tried again today wearing them with socks and my foot is again sore. Not sure why they changed such an outstanding slipper.
These were my favorite everyday slippers/shoes at home for 2 winters in a row so when they finally wore down I purchased another pair. Sad to say, the quality is gone. I started wearing these when the weather turned cold this winter (2014) and now by mid February the shearling lining is worn out and lumpy and the suede upper is coming loose from the sole. For the price of these shoes I feel they should last longer than 4 1/2 months and won't be buying them again. Too bad as they used to be great.
