I have only had these slippers a couple of months. I followed suggested sizing and that was a huge mistake. The length is very long and slipper is very wide in width. The fleece lining is very flimsy. I have found other slippers at another retailer with very nice fit according to my actual shoe size, extremely high quality fleece and much better made than this LLBean product. LLBean slippers donated to a clothing drive.
These slippers arrived today and I have not removed them from my feet. I feel as if walking on clouds. Awesome slippers. If you are thinking of getting them, don't hesitate and get them. Believe me you'll be glad you did.
These slippers are warm and comfortable. They are wide and roomy which suits me fine. It seemed funny that it states that the wool is from Australia, so it's gone from here in Australia, to China to be made into slippers, then to Canada for you to sell to me back here in Australia. They seem to be well made and robust. I hope they'll last me for years.
I had the 2006 model of these slippers and loved them. Other than the general appearance,these slippers aren't the same as the old model. The sole is very stiff, the shearling began to wear away after only a few days of use. The collar used to be a wider SOFT band and it's been replaced by a tight narrow binding that cut into the top of my foot with each step. I have rather narrow feet and a low instep, so I can't imagine these slippers would be usable for anyone with a high instep or wide feet. I ended up returning them. Please go back to the 2006 version!!!
