ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I absolutely love my new clog/slippers. They are warm and have a great foot support, something you don't find in your basic run of the mill slippers. I like that they have a real sole for walking outside.
I had high hopes for these 5 star clogs, but they did not work for me. The arch support was uncomfortably high, but the real problem was that my foot slid all the way to the front crunching my toes with every step. I was sorry to send them back.
This is my 3rd pair of these slippers & I am so disappointed at how they have evolved into lower quality & less comfort. The 1st pair was heavenly when I put them on my feet & I lived in them. They used to have a good arch support, thick shearling lining, thick suede.....no more! Would have sent them back if I wouldn't have had to pay for shipping. Please return to the quality that I have come to expect at LLBean. These slippers no longer demonstrate quality merchandise. I would rather pay more than see cost cutting measures that result in an inferior product.
As someone who is perpetually chilled through Maine's long winters, I really love the plush lining in these slippers...toasty! They offer good arch support as slippers go, and the outer suede is very durable. One drawback, though - I've purchased this same style slipper through Bean's before and found that within a year of normal wear, the fleece lining had worn down to the sole of the slipper and had become uncomfortable. I did return that pair and am hoping that there's been an improvement in manufacturing since.
