I just put on my third pair of these amazing "slippers" today. I bought my first pair back in 1999 and my second pair in 2006. These are hands down the best slippers I've ever had. I only replace them when the tread wears off the bottom and they become slippery when wet. I love them and will continue to wear them as long as I have feet to put into them!
These slippers are by far the best I have ever owed, and I have owed quite a few pairs. They are extremely comfortable and warm. Don't be concerned if they feel a bit snug at first. They stretch and mold to your feet as promised. And they are incredibly durable. I feel confident they will last for a very long time. I plan to give these as gifts in the future. One of the best items I have purchased from LL Bean.
My whole family loves your slippers so this year we bought these for our sons girlfriend who also loved them. Even our grandson (9months) had received a pair from someone. However, one of my sons is sorry you discontinued the scuffs for men. Please start making them again as his are about 4 years old.
I am on my second pair of these slippers. I wear them daily in the winter and although I love them both pairs no longer have any wool on the area of my forefoot. It wears out and I am left with just a leather bottom. I decided to give them a second shot thinking that it might have been because I had the other pair so long, but these wore out within a year or 2. Although they fit great they just haven't stood up to my wear of them. My mother has had the same pair for years and hers are fine so I am not sure if it is just the way I walk???
