I love these slippers for fall and winter. They are warm comfortable and roomy for arthritic toes. Imagine my dismay when, not one, but both pairs of these slippers, split at the toes! And my toes didn't even touch the end! After examining both pairs, I come to conclude that the leather is stretched so thin over the toes that normal wear will break the toe of the slipper. I wont buy them again and that saddens me as they were the best slippers I ever owned. Some attentive quality control could prevent this......
I've worn LL Bean clogs for years, and always bought a size 8. These are too big, are less "furry".....I thought these would be nice with jeans, but they aren't comfortable at all. Going back, and I will have to find another brand to replace.
Just got them, just put them on. Happy Feet. I usually take an 8.5 medium or an 8 wide. After reading some reviews, I chose the 8 and they fit perfectly - with socks! Very comfortable, right length and width. So far, so good. I'll revisit here after I've lived in them a while.
I am loving these house shoes. They are very warm, very comfortable and have a lot of arch support--something I have a hard time finding enough of. The cork sole makes them quiet on our hard floors. I had a pair of cheaper shoes similar to these and within a week huge chunks of the plush material was coming out. I will buy these again when these need replaced.
