Tried these Clogs one last time-Exchanged for Mocs

I really loved these Clog slippers in the past, received probably 3 pairs as Christmas Gifts since the late 1990's that really were superb quality. Well worth the money. All-around best slippers ever. Then I bought a pair in 2012 which were very sub-par, the shearling smashed down and wore out in weeks. The top fabric was cheaper and the shape was odd. Upon recently receiving an LLBean Catalog in the mail that had a highlighted blurb that they searched the world for the best shearling and touting their slippers are now better than ever, I gave these Wicked Good Clogs one last chance, I purchased the Clogs in Graphite color on November 4, 2014. After two weeks of wear, the shearling around the top edge that went around the top of my foot began to come off, and smash down so that there was no visible rim of shearing left when you put them on. Also the shearling became so worn and smashed already, two weeks in mind you, at the bottom where my heel was. So I returned them. Not worth anywhere near $69.00. I will always pay more for good quality, which is why I have in the past shopped at LLBean. I exchanged these Graphite color Clogs for a pair of the LLBean Moccasins in Bright Navy, I will see how the Moccasins fare, Hope they will be worth the money. I've completely given up on the Clogs. I do not recommend them.
These are the worst thing I have ever owned! They don't appear to make the same slippers that I bought years ago (and the shearling is just beginning to wear) so I bought these instead, but when trying them on I noticed what another reviewer did--the fit was not as snug as it used to be. The shearling also appeared to be cheap unlike the ones I bought years ago. But I would have used them anyway if I had been able to walk in them---the sole was so stiff, no give whatsoever. The most uncomfortable thing I have ever put on my feet. I don't even own a pair of shoes this unyielding. I decided right away to send these back and am using my old slippers from years ago. Such a shame too as usually I like the stuff I get from here.
I bought these last year for myself to replace an old pair of slippers, from another company, that I had that lasted 4+ years. I just wear these around the house and I'm not very hard on my slippers. After a year the shearling wore away at the toe and now there are 2 small holes in the toe of one. I was wondering how soon that would happen since the material on the outside is very thin to begin with. They are super warm and I like the hard bottom which seems to be good quality but they were expensive and shouldn't have holes in the toe already. I think I'm going to send these back for a refund. Very sad.
I ordered these slippers a couple of months ago while still warm outside. I had a 10% off coupon. Surprisingly, winter weather came over two months early to Central Texas this year. So I have been happily wearing them for weeks now.
They fit perfectly, and I ordered size 9, even though one foot is 9.5.
Could not ask for better or cozier slippers, and love the gray color. So glad I didn't wait to order.
