As much as I have loved my Wicked Good Clog slippers, the fur in them just doesn't last. My current pair I have owned maybe 1.5 years, maybe a bit longer. However the fur wore out in them months ago (at least 6mo). I'm heading to Freeport soon and will be returning them for the simple reason that I feel that when I pay $65 for slippers, they should last a very very long time. I can buy plain fluffy or terry cloth slippers for $20ish that will last 6-12mo making it more cost effective to buy 3 pairs of those than 1 pair of Wicked Good Clogs. I love the clogs...until the fur wears out.
I had originally purchased these slippers a few years ago. The best slippers I ever had but finally wore a hole in the toe area, so when I received a gift card this past Christmas, I immediately ordered another pair in Jan. In less than a month all the shearling had worn off the shoes. I called customer service and they sent another pair. So from Feb. till now another pair has worn out and has a hole started in the toe. For that price, I expected better. After reading some reviews with the same problem, I emailed ll bean and they are going to send label to return these and I do not want another pair. The support in these slippers is wonderful so I will be searching for something close.
Like everyone else I was excited when they brought back these slippers. However they are not like the old ones. I have had my new pair for a year and they are already falling a part and are actually in worse condition then my first pair I purchased probably ten years ago. Please bring back the original wicked good clogs otherwise not worth the money if they only last a year! I already have a hole in the toe and all the lining is coming off my ten year old pair are in much better condition than these after a year so sad...
While the lining felt good at first, it quickly flattened out and is so thin feeling, they are not comfortable any more. There is no arch support whatsoever. I wish I would not have kept these
