The first pair of clogs I bought would definitely receive 5 stars, as they are still being used after many years...but whoever is manufacturing the new version is skimping on quality material. The clogs use to be made of thicker, higher quality suede. Now, they are so thin the slippers are so loose. The shearling was once very thick, now it is used sparingly. I really think some of the reviewers haven't had the old ones or they wouldn't be writing such rave reviews. LLBean....PLEASE bring back the excellent quality wicked good clogs once again.
These slippers were the most comfortable slippers I have ever worn. For comfort, I would say they are unmatched. As for durability, I purchased them in January 2010 and by July a hole developed at the toe of one slipper. I recently returned them. I am hesitating about buying another pair, but will miss the comfort of these slippers.

The most comfortable, correct sized, durable indoor/outdoor slippers I have ever worn. I buy a new pair every year and wear them and they never fall apart. I just want a new pair.
