Wearing this pair for 6 mos. after looking for the right pair for about 2 yrs. Bought these based on the reviews and have been very satisfied. The sole is sturdy but actually has enough "give" to make walking very comfortable. My feet are different sizes, 7 and 7 1/2. I ordered the 7 and they only felt too snug on the larger foot the first day. Then the lining settled and contoured to my feet. My smaller foot slips just a little when I walk but I never noticed it until I read someone else's review. The arch is very comfortable.
I have been an owner of LLBean Wicked Good Slippers for about 15 years now, but was ready for a change.
I really love the Wicked Good Clogs. It was a tough adjustment, though, since there is very little (to no) flexibility in the soles (unlike the Slippers). But now that I'm used to them, they are fabulous!
These are comfortable, perfectly warm, practical, tough, good looking, go-anywhere kind of slippers. THey grip well on smooth surfaces and make my feet feel centered and balanced. My husband is greatly jealous and waiting hopefully for his old slippers of another brand to wear out . . . shouldn't take too long. I have a feeling that these wicked slippers are going to outlast me! I sincerely hope that these slippers and I will have a long-term relationship!
Tried other similar styles but LL Bean's are the BEST - the only one's I will wear. They last the longest and are able to withstand trips out to get the paper no matter what the weather is! Had a recent pair not hold up so well and no questions asked - my replacement pair were on my feet before the old ones were back to them for an exchange! Try a pair... they are HEAVEN FOR YOUR FEET. I have been wearing them for 3 decades!
