These slippers were so comfortable when I first got them, but unfortunately they did not last at all. I'm baffled by the reviews stating that they have lasted years. I just bought mine last fall and didn't hesitate to spend this much on a pair of slippers because I assumed they were durable and of good quality. It has been only a few months and the inner lining has worn out and the toes area is wearing down. There is a hole the size of a dime in the toe area of one. And this is just from wearing them around the house for a few months. I do work at home and wear them a few hours a day, but am just sitting and scuffing about. I really expect a lot more out of slippers this expensive.
I have had foot problems that require me to wear supportive shoes. Slippers were always a problem for me, because the comfy ones never had enough support. I tried wearing clogs, but they didn't give the same cozy feeling of slippers. Then LL Bean came out with the Wicked Good Clogs, and they are the best! I have been buying them for the past 10 years or so, and wear each pair out--my feet love them! This time I bought the new color, chocolate brown, and I love that new color, too!
I love these slippers! They go on my feet the moment I walk in the door when I get home from work, and stay on until I climb into bed at night. They're cozy and comfortable; more like "house shoes" than slippers with the great support they provide. I highly recommend them for anyone.
Love these! Great fit, comfort, and warmth. I am VERY hard on slippers as I wear them on hardwood floors and am home running about a good part of the day. The cork bottom gives more support than a typical slipper, and the slip-on clog style is easy to wear. I like the dark brown color as they look a bit more stylish and I don't feel so funny wearing them in the house even when people come over. I've worn down the furry interior lining in 2 pairs during the course of a year, but thanks to LL Bean's great return policy, I've been able to exchange for a new pair of slippers at no cost. They have already paid for themselves in that respect since I used to get less-expensive ones that didn't last and I was replacing them over and over again.
