I purchased the dark brown (chocolate)clogs for myself in Dec 2009. I had considered the scuffs but after checking out some of the online comments on the stitching of the scuffs, I decided to go with the clogs. I am so happy that I did. These clogs are so soft, warm & comfortable. I'm glad I picked the dark brown color. The soles match the color of the upper well, and the inner lining is dark brown too. The great thing about the clogs is that they slip on & off easily but they do not slide off when you are walking around. They have a slight lip on the back of the heal that keeps them in place. I normally wear a 7 regular...sometimes a 7 1/2. I ordered the 7 rather than sizing up to an 8, and they fit just right. If you have wide feet, you might want to order up because they are a tad snug width-wise (but I like them that way so they don't slip off). The soles are nice & sturdy...they actually look a lot like some of the shoes that you see folks wearing now. I want to keep mine for a long time, so I only wear them inside. They provide good support when I am standing in the kitchen working for hours. I love these slippers. I wouldn't normally spend this much for slippers, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat because they are so cozy & nice.
I loved the warmth of these slippers, but after only 2 months of use, the shearling in the heels is completely worn away. The fit is very loose as well, but it's the fact that the wool is so easily rubbed away that was a shock to me. Ironically, ordered the same pair for my mother-in-law. I hope she has better luck.
