These slippers were my favorite for over a decade, and I was so happy to see them return to LLB's lineup. However, my last replacement pair left something to be desired, and I have been quite disappointed. I am unsure if I got a "bad" pair, or if the quality has been lowered. I found that the sheepskin starting wearing through immediately (where previously it would take several months to show wear.) Also, for the first 2 months, they felt as if there was a lump under the arch (whereas, previously, they would be immediately comfortable and get more so with wear.) Overall, they are still a good slipper, they're just not as wicked good as before :(
I received my clogs today on what will be the coldest night of the year so far. 7 degrees here. (Hey! We're in the South - that's cold to us). I put them on immediately and they felt wonderful immediately. I have a wide foot and was concerned when I ordered my regular shoe size but they have lots of toe room and the length is just fine. May need just a little breaking in on the instep but that's all. Barring any unforeseen problems, I think we will have a long, happy relationship.
Received these as a gift in 2005 and have been trying to locate another pair, finally they have returned. Package arrived yesterday and I have not had them off my feet since. The fit is perfect the lining is thick and warm. I am a true size 8 and bought an 8 and they are a perfect fit. This shoe is so warm and comfy and has a slight arch to help support those falling arches. It's like walking on a cloud. All I can really say is "welcome home" don't ever leave again. Will be ordering a second pair just in case they discontinue them again...hopefully not
I just love these. I'm not really a slipper person but I need to wear something when cooking and just being at home, since my feet are cold ALL THE TIME. These slippers are amazing: my feet NEVER get sweaty or uncomfortable-why is that!? The thing that really surprised me though was that no matter how many times I have spilled something on them while in the kitchen, and thought "that's going to be a stain...!:(" BUT it never is! I wipe them off,sometimes with a little bit of detergent, and they are back in shape! The bottom of these are firm, good support-not mushy like a slipper. These are "slipper shoes"! So glad I read the reviews here-and bought them!
