I've had these slippers for 3 years now and they are part of my stay-at-home-mom daily uniform. My feet will not stay warm without them! The pair I have has not come unstitched, but I noticed the tread has started to wear off on the sole because of daily use!! The lining has worn down and that alone makes me want a new pair, I recall how plush the lining was when they were new. I don't think mine have stretched out a surprising amount...any leather footwear is going to stretch out over time and the lining is going to get flattened as well; I actually bought my original pair a size smaller, planning on the leather stretching with use. I wear mine with socks and it keeps my feet extra toasty. I even bring them when I travel during winter months, they have almost turned into my security blanket. Love them and I'm putting the dark brown ones on my Christmas list this year.
I'm ordering these for the 3rd time.I love these slippers and wear them everyday.They are my go to shoes when I am home.I ordered 3 pair this time.One for me and a pair for each of my daughters for Christmas .I have never had any problems with these shoes,except after two yrs I get a hole in the toe from wearing them out.LOL Love Love Love these!!!
Let me start by saying that I love these slippers, and wear them pretty much everyday. I have had them for about 2 years, and I have only two complaints:
1. They stretch out over time. 2. They eventually separate at the seams. This happened after a year and a half, and while I admit that these slippers get a lot of abuse, I also do not think that expensive LLBean slippers should do this.
All in all, I highly reccommend these slippers. As for comfort and warmth, I've never seen any slipper that could compare. However, as with everything in life, they aren't perfect. Regardless of their flaws, they are the best slippers I have ever had, and I am asking for a new pair for Xmas this year.
