There are good points and bad points on these houseshoes, great to wear outside, very warm, yet they are really stiff, do not bend at all. I guess I expected a more relaxed fit... I Love the ideal that you are changing styles some on houseshoes and clothes...
I have to agree with the other review. I've received these slippers for Christmas for three years now. The first two years, I loved them, but this last Christmas (2007), the quality was not as it was in the past. The fur was definetly thinner which caused spots in the slipper to wear out and you are standing on nothing but plastic. I loved the slippers so much in the past, that I'm willing to give it one more try this year and am hopeful that LL Bean has gone back to their original quality of these slippers.
I have had a couple of pairs of these and love them and wear them until they are worn out. This fall I purchased a replacement pair and followed the instructions to buy a size bigger then the half size I wear. They were way too big and I returned them for a the half size smaller and they still had plenty of room.
