My feet hurt. I already own a pair of these slippers and they are the only thing I can wear and my feet don't hurt. So I decided to get another pair to wear outside.I read the reviews and have reluctantly decided not to purchase at this time Is anyone at L.L.Bean listening? Everyone seems to think the quality of these slippers has gone by the wayside. I really would like to have another pair I can wear while outside but after reading the reviews I have decided to hold off on this purchase. (Even though I have a lot of coupons saved up and can get them for "free".) Please let me know when you upgrade these formerly wonderful slippers. In the meantime I think I will just wait. I will have to content myself with only being comfortable in the house.
I have been developing some foot issues and can't walk around in barefoot in the house anymore, it hurts my feet too much. Decided to try these based on the excellent reviews. Well, the first couple days I was not sold - didn't feel comfortable, was tight around the opening. But after a couple days they must have gotten broken in and fit much better. Now I practically live in them! When I come home, they are the only thing I want to put on my feet. They are so warm and comfortable, with great arch support. I can be on my feet at home for hours on end cooking and my feet don't hurt a bit. In fact I haven't been wearing them lately this summer because I was finding them too warm, but my feet and back are asking for them.
Many people complained that the slippers wear badly and are not as well made as the original ones. I never had the original ones so I can't compare. But I have had no problem with these and was wearing them everyday for the last 6 months. I highly recommend, especially for achy problem feet.
