I laughed at the name of these clogs but as soon as I put my tired feet inside, the name made complete sense to me. I need extra support for my arches so I can't wear slippers for any length of time, but these wicked good clogs molded to the shape of my feet and now give me the support that I need. You can rarely find me wearing anything else on my feet and it isn't even cold here yet! Soooo nice! Much love LLBean ;)
These slippers have it all - warmth and foot comfort/support. I put them on when I arrive home after a day at work when it's at all cold out, and it's foot heaven - so warm, so soft. I wear them around the house most of the time, except in hot weather. In fact, I have them on as I type this! The cork footbed makes them so wearable - they are supportive, unlike most other slippers. I had the other Wicked Good slippers before (full-foot "boot" style), which had the wonderful soft lining, but when I need a new pair of slippers I'm getting another pair of these. They are not the most attractive slippers of all time but really, they're slippers - who sees them but your family?
I first bought these slippers 4 years ago when I lived in New Jersey because i wanted something warm and cozy that i could wear outside as well. Thanks to the rubber bottom, you can wear them outside (for short periods) so you don't have to take off your slippers and put on shoes, etc. They are extremely plush but do take a month or so to "break in" so be patient! They mold to your foot so it's worth the wait! I just re-ordered a pair cause after 4 years, the rubber bottom is coming off a little bit and the inside plush is matted down but they're still wearable. So now i have 2 pairs! The old pair i'm using for when i run outside or across the street and the new ones for the house only. They are very warm in the winter but not so hot that you can't wear them during the summer (or in Raleigh!) I strongly recommend them. They will be your favorite slippers. Enjoy!
I ordered the wicked good clogs as an early Christmas present to myself. I had my previous slippers for 16 years (from Alaska) and hated having to replace them but it was definitely time. I wanted ones I would love just as much. Since I take a 1/2 size, I ordered "up" as suggested, but ended up trading them for 1/2 size smaller. This size was perfect and I can say I really do love them. I wear them whenever I can.
