Owned my first pair of the Bean Wicked Good Clogs for quite a number of years. They finally got to the point they had to be replaced, which I did in early within the past 2 yrs...can't remember exactly when, but know it hasn't been all that long ago. And, living in North Myrtle Beach SC, they don't get worn very much. To my surprise last evening, I noticed a hole beginning to appear at the toe point of the left slipper. And seeing how I get a pedicure every two weeks, my toe nails are kept trimmed short. Don't understand but think the quality of the slipper is no where near my first pair which seemed to live on forever! I won't purchase another pair, for sure, unless LL Bean can assure me I'll get more than a few months of use out of them.

In previous years, I have owned two other pairs of these exact same slippers. Both times I was able to get around 2 years worth of wear out of them. I was so disappointed when I needed a new pair in 2011 and Bean no longer carried them and thrilled to death when they brought them back in 2012! Well, I'm not so thrilled anymore. After wearing my third and newest pair of the Wicked Good Clog Slippers for only 3 months, my toes are already coming out the ends! I could tell when I received them that they were of a noticeably lesser quality than in previous years, but I was so excited to have them that I just kept them. They are not so "wicked good" anymore and I am sorely disappointed.
I would rather pay $100.00 for these, and have them be of the superior quality that they were in the past, versus paying the current price and only having them last 3 months. I would be interested in seeing if other Bean customers feel the same way about price and quality.
PLEASE L.L. Bean, don't start making cheap clothing and shoes to save a buck. I would venture to guess that most of your customers are willing to pay for good, quality clothing and shoes and that's why you've been in business for so many years. If we wanted cheaper clothing/shoes, we'd shop at cheaper quality stores (which shall remain nameless). Thank you.

They are wicked good

After I developed plantar faciitis, my podiatrist said not to wear slippers at home anymore. Well, a friend told me about Wicked Good slippers and I got mine yesterday. I can again wear slippers around the house! They are comfortable, warm and provide just enough arch support.
I have many pairs of these slippers dating back for years. Was very disappointed when they were discontinued, and elated when they brought them back. HOWEVER, they are definately not the same. Very narrow, and in the lastest pair I received, one shoe is very narrow, and the other is notably not the same width.
