I'm so happy that they brought back these slippers! I buy a new pair every year for myself as a Christmas gift :) They are super cozy and the ONLY shoe I can wear all day and not have my feet hurt. The shearling feels great against the skin,the shoe is light due to the cork bottom with just enough lift in the heel to make it comfortable. Any other slipper is either to clunky with a heavy heel or too thin where you feel everything on the floor. This one really is just right. Please don't take them away again! (the only reason why I replace them is because they do stink after a year of wearing them with bare feet-I'm not sure if you can actually clean shearling slippers)
I have a 6 year old pair of these slippers. I loved them. The lining in my new slippers is not the same. The lining in the new slippers has a stiff nylon feel, definitely not the really warm, soft wool lining of my old slippers. I am keeping them but would not buy these again. I was very disappointed.
If I could wear them to work,I would ! So soft, so supportive, so "wickedly" good! I work for the Postal Service, and after 8-11 hrs. on a concrete slab floor,these are the only things I want on my feet.
