Oh dear, when you put these on, you will not want to take them off. Temps dropped today to single digits, below zero, and my feet could not be toastier or happier. If you would like to wear clouds on your feet - these are the way to go! Thank you Bean's!
I had a pair of these slippers about 7 years ago and LOVED them. Within a couple of years, I wore a hole in my right toe, but continued to wear them for another 3 years or so, until my kids made fun of the hole. Of course they were very stained from cooking also. I'd probably still be wearing them, if not for my kids' embarrassment!
I thought it was just me with the hole in the toe, but am somewhat happy to hear I am in good company. And yes, my shearling wore down to shiny spots, but they were still the most comfortable slipper I have ever owned.
After wearing a decent fleece pair from LLBean for the past 2 years, I find myself clicking on these clogs frequently, just to look, so although my fleece are still decent, I'm giving up the fight and ordering a new pair!
These shoes are beautifully constructed and warm. They give lots of room for your toes to spread out (I have narrow feet). Unfortunately, the soles are very stiff and the overall shoe fairly bulky, so they feel a bit clunky to walk around in.
I love these slippers. I have bought 3 pairs over the last 10 years. Very comfortable. I need arch support and these are the only ones that provide it. After wearing them for a month the cork footbed molds to your foot giving the support needed. Warm in the winter and just right in the summer. I can't run around barefoot so these work perfectly. Because I wear them daily, I wind up putting a hole in the toe area after a couple of years. No cons other than the fur wears down after a couple of years. No biggie, time for a new pair. Yippie!!!
