I have been wearing these slippers for a week and my normal size 7 was a perfect fit. Worried because of other reviews posted. Only wish they had the suede bottom instead of the hard rubber. My feet feel so comfortable in them all day while inside. Will see how they hold up in the future.
I was really looking forward to the warm fleece and hard/solid sole of these slippers, and maybe I wore them too often, but the fleece wore down very quickly and went from warm and cozy to barely adequate, very quickly. The fleece just didn't stand up to frequent barefoot wear.
I am a slipper SNOB and was leery about purchasing these 'wicked good' slippers. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! I have very wide feet, so I probably could/should have ordered the larger size, but the size I received is still GREAT and probably fits 'normal' sized women just fine. These slippers are warm without being hot (was outside in 3 degree weather filling my bird feeders!), cozy, and surprisingly supportive. One can easily take out garbage, feed the birds, or run to the store without even wearing socks! These are the best slippers I have ever worn, and will probably purchase another pair just in case they 'go away' again. PLEASE LL BEAN DO NOT DISCONTINUE THESE AGAIN!!!
I have bought these slippers before and they lasted me 8 full years before they came apart completely, beyond repair. But since that time I've had some "Hammer Toe" surgery on my right foot and for some reason my toes are pushing to the right forcing me into extra, extra wide shoes so I was worried that the slippers would be too narrow now. I ordered myself the "Chocolate Brown" this time around and I like the color and was so HAPPY when I tried the slippers on and found that they were wide enough for my foot. I'm hoping that they have them for at least one more month so I can order a 2nd pair. See I'm a sales clerk who has to stand all day and by the time I get home my feet are killing me, but I just talk off my shoes, put on my slippers and my feet are in Parardise
