I love these slippers; however, they are not as well-made as the ones I originally bought several years ago. In the past few years, the shearling on the inside of the slipper is thinner and wears out more quickly. I still love them and continue to buy a new pair every year, because they are better than anything else on the market.
I'm usually a 8.5 wide. I got these in 8 B. They are about the same length, but very roomy despite the fuzzy lining. Instructions which came with these say they should fit tightly because they will mat down and mould to your foot. I doubt that will happen since the lining is not very thick. If anything they would wear out fast...only time will tell.
These are quite roomy, with some light support in the arch area (which I need). I do love the feel and have no problem walking in therm, so I'll stick with the 8 B...and be quite happy.
Good features: the little bit of raised platform heel; nice rubber sole; the smooth suede exterior; pleasant brown color; no bites or pinches, not even the toes; lining is light and soft.
I tried several major sites and brands elsewhere looking for sheepskin/suede with slight heel and decent sole, and nothing fit the bill nearly as well as these do. Definitely the "best of the bunch."
Would buy another pair if they had some jazzy colors. They make wonderful slippers!
This is my 2nd pair in ten years. Still wearing the old ones but they are a little worn now. These really are wicked good. Comforrtable and durable. A must Have for winter!!!
