I tried to read the 588 reviews but I kept getting redirected only to the bottom of the screen I was on. I owned an original Moonbeam clock and I really liked it. One day the little hand slipped down to the six o'clock position and never moved again. You were nice enough to replace it but the replacement doesn't hold a candle to the original. The color is different, the design too, and the light is almost dim enough that you need to turn a light on to read the time which pretty much defeats the purpose of a lit up clock face. The old one was perhaps a tad too bright but this one is way too dim. Like comparing a harvest moon on a crisp Autumn evening in Maine vs. an overcast night in Los Angeles. How about putting in a brighter bulb with a dimmer switch or a 3-way bulb. How expensive would that be? Anyway just wanted to share my opinion. Thanks for reading.
I bought the turquoise one but it looked better in another room. I bought this one to go in the room I originally had in mind. I don't need the digital ugly radio alarms. I just need something to wake me up. Only thing I don't like is that the alarm rings every 12 hours. So I have been turning it off so I don't hear the alarm at 6 p.m. at night.
I purchased this moonbeam clock a few years ago. I decided to put the older one in the guestroom and purchased 2 more for the master bedroom. We love the silent wakeup option and the retro style of this clock. A bonus with the newer clocks is the option to have the lighted dial on or off. The moonbeam clock is a winner. Thank you !
I have 6 of these clocks and love them but would love to put them in some masculine rooms. Any chance you will have them in some deeper colors like dark gray or black? (You offered gray once and I snatched it up as soon as I saw it online but have not seen it since.)
