ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, charming
I am very happy with this purchase. I recently moved into a very old building. Since I couldn't make the apartment look new, I chose to go "retro." I bought this clock for the kitchen/diningroom area. The pale green color is absolutely beautiful, and I love the optional light, which is so soft and adds to the clock's charm. It works fine, and the price was right. I would highly recommend this clock for any room in the house.
While I liked the clock and the color. I could not depend on this clocks alarm to wake me up. At first,I could not get the alarm bell to work only the light worked. When I finally got the alarms bell to work, it would go off twenty to thirty minutes early. To end my frustration, I sent the clock back.
I really like the soft glow from the clock and that you do not hear any "tick-tock". I am not crazy about the bottom trim on the yellow clock. It is gold plated looking and would prefer the white/silver looking as shown on the green clock.
