I was the owner of this clock in sunshine for about three years and gradually it developed a quirk where it stopped running, seemingly because one of the hands stuck. Finally, in frustration, I called Customer Service and they looked it up and even though it had been many months since my purchase, I was invited to send it back and receive my money back, which I did.. I also ordered a new one in green and so far so good. Now that's service!!!
Lovely little clock--does everything as promised and I love the look of it. Am returning it, however, because the light just never woke me up. I was only waking up by the time it got to it's alarm sound--which is old fashioned but jarring--and the light was very bright and flashing by this point. Not a reflection of LL Bean--I am a customer forever--this clock just wasn't for me!
Loved the clock and used it for several months, but the alarm function no longer works. I still use it for telling time, but I needed an alarm clock! At this price, I expected more from it.

This clock reminds me of the clock my grandmother had, Its perfect and keeps great time and wakes you up in the morning without all of that constant buzzing. It actually wakes you without being annyoying if an alarm clock could ever do that! I think you will love it!
