I have owned two Moon Beam clocks. I enjoyed them so much I lovingly sent them one by one with my family going off to college. I would rate them 4 and 5 stars. Clock improved by softening the light. THIS 3RD CLOCK KEPT STOPPING, LOSING HOURS WITHIN ONE DAY. I hope the replacement keeps time properly . I miss easily seeing the time during the night.

We love the clock. The look is definitely retro but looks great in our bedroom. The night light is not bright and does not light up the room. Being able to choose between waking up to the blinking light beam only, alarm bell only or both is a great feature. We also like having the ability to choose a low or loud alarm bell, and the bell alarm has a nice old fashion telephone sound.
Great alarm clock. Big Surprise is the size rather large but otherwise a real classic in looks. Love that it has a battery backup. It wakes you up very gently
