What a pleasure to wake up to a blinking light followed by a soft buzz, rather than the harsh, loud bleatings of typical alarm clocks. Cute retro style too. I plan on buying another one for my husband.
We own three of the moonbeam alarm clocks. We just love them! The older models have a brighter backlight. The new models have a dimmer backlight, which is good because I prefer a darker room for sleeping. The clocks are easy to read at night and the alarm works perfectly. It is a nice looking clock and seems to be high quality plastic housing in a nice variety of colors.
This is a gorgeous clock, and we like the glowing light. However, the alarm sound is a little much--it's a rattly and loud buzzing bell, like you would imagine from the old fashioned alarm hammer banging two metal bells atop an old clock. I wish the alarm was an updated civilized gentler noise.
This clock is great! I hemmed and hawwed about ordering it for FOUR years before I finally did - I LOVE IT! Yellow is the color I chose - it is great! The light is nice and soft plus a great night light as well!
