I love this clock. The alarm sound is great, not the kind that wakes you up in a panic. None of the light features work on my clock though and this is very disappointing.
I like this clock, and I'm a clock collector of sorts. The alarm (with which some have been unhappy) is NOT too loud if one puts the switch to "low". I like having the lighted dial at night, and like seeing a clock face with hands! The color is terrific (I chose green). One "complaint" is the size: I wish it were a bit smaller... Otherwise, a real gem.
I've wanted this clock forever, so when my alarm clock finally quit, I ordered this one as fast as my fingers could fly over the keys. And it's AWESOME! I love waking up to the gentle flashing of the light rather than a typical alarm buzz. Usually the light is enough to get me up. The chime is not my absolutely favorite - it is a little harsh, at least for me - but it's definitely not a deal-breaker.

I bought the clock for my husband who likes to see what time it is in the middle of the night. He loves it and so do I. The soft glow is soothing and the alarm works well. Even my 16 year old son likes it and wanted one. Very attractive, quiet, and serviceable.
