I am disappointed with this cute little clock. At first it worked well. I don't have it very long, maybe a year. Now it works when it feels like. I can't trust it anymore to get me up. Will have to get myself another alarm clock but not from LL.Bean. I would give it no stars if I could because it it useless.

ProsDurable, Performing as Expected
So much nicer to be awakened by the light instead of a loun buzzer!!!
I like this clock. It's a throwback to the 1950s when electronics were simpler and did useful things. The Moonbeam performs as a clock, keeping time, and producing an obvious alarm using sound and light. It does what it is meant to do. It does it well and with a soft, warm glow.

I ordered the Moon Beam Clock because I like its looks with big numbers and it said it was a nightlight and clock in the catalog. I received it quickly, tried it for a few nights but its light was too dim to be classified as a nightlight. I called customer service and rep said it may be defective and sent me a new one quickly. Sadly this one was also dim and 2nd rep said it wasn't meant to be used as a nightlight. The new catalog does not advertise it as one. So I had to return them both and get a credit on my LLBean charge. Rep also said I would get back my $10 coupon that I used to put toward another item. Hopefully I will since I earned the $10 with my purchases for Christmas presents for my grandkids. LLBean has the best service of any company I have used and reps are just so nice. It's a pleasure to do business with this company.
