As a kid from the 50's, I fell in love with this clock when I saw it on the back of the home catalog. We use it in the bathroom for a night light and for the time. I want to buy another for the bedroom.I'm tired of the bright red digital lights on alarm clocks. I want to try it out to see if the flashing light will wake me. If it doesn't, the really loud alarm will!

Style reminds me of 1950s clock/radios. Has great weight, feel Larger clock face makes seeing what time it is, easier, even from across the room. Stylish enough to fit in any room, decor. Slightly luminous face for night viewing (can turn on/off). The alarm is distinct but not jarring. I like the idea it works on batteries or cord; battry back up in case electricity goes out. I used my Bean holiday $10.00 gift card towards this purchase. Recomend highly.
