I ordered this clock in the vanilla and yellow. I LOVE them. They are being used in two guests rooms. The clocks are everything I expected. They have a terrific retro look and the softly lit dial is not too bright.
I am very happy with this sweet clock. I prefer waking up to light. The flashing light wakes me gently. I also have the buzzer just in case. And the moon beam glow from the face of the clock is just right. It is just enough to see the time, and gentle enough not to disturb your sleep. I like the battery backup, I almost wish it weren't electric.
I'd been looking for a clock for my newly redecorated Mad Men-inspired guest bedroom. I wanted something with a retro feel. This clock DELIVERS. I bought the green--a cool, minty totally retro color. It's substantial with a big face that can glow a light amber. The controls seems pretty easy to use, although I have yet to set the alarm. The instructions are idiot-proof. There are several customizable alarm features--a real old-fashioned bell, a light that grows brighter, or a combination of the two. Mostly, it just looks really cool--exactly what I was looking for.
