This is a really nice item for a guest room, as it offers a night light and a retro clock face with a Asian quartz battery-driven movement. Plastic case instead of baked enamel on metal, but you can't stop progress
This and the BIG BEN model take me back to simpler times, when the Westclox version of this sat on my parent's nightstand.
I bought this clock for my husband and it's just way too loud. The light works but also wakes me up when I still have an hour to sleep . He wakes with the light, but forgets to turn off the alarm so it goes off when he's in the shower. We will be sending it back and looking for an alarm that's not so jarring. Still love LL bean Tho..
This is a nice looking alarm clock, the idea of waking to the flashing light is super. BUT, make sure you turn off the alarm before the audio ring starts. It's overly loud and obnoxious. I'm still going t to keep mine!
