I purchased this for a Santa Fe house and love the retro look. It fits perfectly with the SF decor and adds a Route 66 accent look to the southwestern decor. It is a little larger than I anticipated but a great clock. I really like the fact that the backlight on the dial at night is just bright enough to see, but doesn't seem to cast light out into the room. I am sensitive to lights at night and this is not bothersome at all.
Having grown up with an original BigBen and having had an LLB BigBen until it died last month, I was somewhat disappointed that this had an electrical cord. Other than that I really like it...I just need to be a little more progressive.
