Love this clock, I have never liked digital....this one I can see time at night with a nice glow of light that does not hurt my eyes, it is so quiet (unlike other clocks) that it makes me rest better. Goes with any decor even though I thought at first it might be retro, it is acutally very chic. I love the shade of blue but will try another color also. Buying another and also one for a gift, I like it that much. And who can't use another clock?
This 1952 retro 'Moon Clock' has been my favorite clock for a long time. Speaking of time, it keeps time great. The "moon face" illuminates like a night light of sorts, but it does not disturb sleep. There are times, I have a hard time going to sleep, and will watch the secondhand on this clock, 30 seconds, till sleeps takes over. I have it in the yellow, but all the colors are beautiful, and take me back to my childhood, when this style of clock was on many a nightstand. It would look great on an end table, in a kitchen especially, if you happen to have a retro looking kitchen. And since I am getting older, I can attest, this clock is easy to read and see.
We really enjoy this attractive and extremely useful clock. In fact, we bought two! The assets (besides telling the time) are -Lighted face that can be seen clearly at night. -Alarm that is easy to set and turn off (or change).
The clock is light-weight and can be placed wherever you want it. Actually it's good-looking enough for any room. The color choices are very nice, the numbers are clear - even from a distance. And its third hand is quiet. For us, it was a worthwhile purchase. Actually its usefulness, reasonable price plus the other assets mentioned make it more valuable than any clocks we have researched and seen.
