I love this stylish retro clock. The soft light illumnates the dial at night. The light is not disturbing and the clock is easy to read. I enjoy the green color.
nice large clack. didn't hear the second hand as others noted. the alarm is VERY LOUD. the light doesn't gradially iluminate, but rather lights up blinking very bright and flashing. with both light and alarm going it is like a police top screaming!!! the night iluminator worked well for me. keeping it for now, but may send it back. useless to me for alarm purposes.
I have two other moon beam clocks and I have to say I am disappointed in the re-vamp of this clock. I love that there was a gentle warm light that awoke you in the morning. This new design must be "green", the dial is not as bright and the morning light is a blue light that does not have enough power to "shine". I really love this clock, but if I can't take it apart and change the bulb it will be going back.
The Moon Beam Clock is lovely! After many, many years of being able to sleep until I woke naturally, I have recently started working a job that requires me to get up rather early. My old alarm was just that - alarming!!! - but the Moon Beam Clock is delightful. On mornings when the blinking light doesn't wake me, the alarm itself is both effective and rather amiable. And it's so charming to look at!
