This is a great looking clock for your nightstand or where ever however, if you actually need a good functioning alarm clock..not so much. First of all the light feature did NOTHING to wake me up but that wasn't that big of an issue really because you can use the light and the alarm. The big thing is you have to physically turn it OFF and then to reset you have to turn it back on. I was always afraid I'd forget to turn it back on for the next morning. Then as far as setting the alarm it's one of those old fashioned kind where you are just guessing. All you have is that one little hand to set the time for your alarm. As I said, it's great looking but not if you need a great functioning alarm clock that you have to use daily. If so.... don't get it. I sent mine back and went back to my digital (ugly) alarm clock.

This analog clock is closely designed after the vintage Big Ben, originally introduced in 1952. As you note, this means the alarm needs to be turned on daily, and that the alarm cannot be set with the to-the-minute precision of a digital clock.

Very classy, I love this clock, have four of them in different bedrooms! Received one that was damaged but have sent it back for an exact exchange. The soft light that gives you a preliminary wake up call is so gentle. The bell to follow does its' job... Great item!
After reading the reviews on this clock I questioned whether to buy it. I did and am returning it. I love the way the clock looks. I love the lighted face. However, the alarms do not work. I am also dissappointed in the quality. It is not what I would expect from llbean.

Love the color and its quiet. I have the green. Clock face light can be turned on or off. Even on it is not too much light if you are one that needs near complete darkness to fall asleep.
