This is a really nice looking clock. I wish I could have kept it but I didn't realize it was electric. You could run it on batteries but then it doesn't light up at night. So, unfortunately, I had to return it. But I felt bad about that as it really is nice-looking for a bedroom.
Very nice clock, the dial light is nice at night in a very dark room. Wish there was some way that the light which flashes with the alarm could be switched on, without activating the alarm as an extra night light, especially in a very dark room and in special circumstances when extra light is needed.
I love this nostalgic alarm/night-light clock. I was born in 1950, and that's when this style alarm clock was first released. It has modern features that are so appealing like subtle blinking light, then gradual increase in sound so that awakening is a pleasant experience. Also, the switch on back for turning night-light feature on/off is very convenient.
I love, love, love this clock. It works wonderfully and is beautiful. The only negative was my fault--- I should have ordered the green not the yellow.
