I bought this clock last Spring for my daughter to take to the dorm for college. It was perfect but, we had a few problems! First the alarm stopped working and then the clock itself stopped working. I called Customer Service at Spring Break and they were so great and helpful. The clock was replaced with another Moon Beam Clock and we are back to waking up in time for Class. I will try to post an update later on the new Moon Beam Clock-Thanks to LL Bean for being so great about the return/replacement!

This clock is great! Just the right size. The night light is bright enough that as soon as you walk in the bedroom you can see the time. My husband wanted a clock that he could see the time without putting an extra light on. This one does the job!! A classic design!
i've had the clock for a couple years now. my family has had several of them, all working great, and i even bought one for my niece. mine was okay, ticking not too loud, but then last month it starting ticking horrendously loud! i'm pretty sensitive to noise but my husband is not and it's even bothering him. i've been turning the clock over and covering it up at night, but then what's the point? i like the light, don't use the alarm anyway (wake up on our own), but now we can't see the clock at night when we need to and have to keep an ugly little digital thing by the bed so i can check the time... i'm thinking of taking the clock apart and trying to muffle it somehow, maybe oil it since the noise started after a really cold spell and maybe the damp weather had something to do with it? anyway, it'll be sad if i break the clock but otherwise it's going way in another part of the house where no one has to live with it. it even bothers us when we're just trying to read quietly in bed. very disappointing. i was truly enjoying the look of the clock...
