We liked the features of the clock, particularly the soft flashing light from the face of the clock. We also liked the retro look and were initially pleased that it was a Big Ben product. We were dismayed when after just using it for three days it quit working so we sent it back.
I looked at this clock many times in the catalog before I ordered it. I wanted a clock for my side of the bed. I ordered it in vanilla and the color and soft glow really do resemble the moon. I love it. I wish the alarm bell was more soothing, but otherwise, it's perfect.
I loved the looks of this clock, which is why I bought it. Here is the biggest reason why I don't like this clock. The alarm could wake the neighbors it is so loud. When it uses the word "chime" in it's description, you would think that it would sound somewhat pleasant, but that is not the case. Durable, pretty, but not pleasant to wake up to.
