I ordered a gray clock for my reading corner. It looked great so I ordered a green one another room. At that point, I would have given 5 stars, but, after a couple of days, the gray one started ticking VERY loudly, and then it stopped working. We moved the time setting knob forward, and the clock started again. It continued to tick VERY loudly at times, so I couldn't use it in the reading corner. I sent it back for exchange (which I have not yet received.) The green one works fine so I hope the new gray one will be okay.
I was pleased to see that the clock has a regular electrical cord to plug in the wall socket and doesn't rely on endless batteries. However, I wondered if the clock had this feature before I ordered it and did not see anything in the catalog description that answered this query.
I like the soft light of the dial and the choices one has for being awakened by this clock. I also like the large size of the dial and the overall size of the clock itself.
I just wish it came in a rose color. I think it used to...?
I received this clock as a gift and had the light stay on-at unexpected times But, returned it for another- because I love it! the light comes on first and gives you a chance to turn it off before the alarm. Some days- you just don't want the alarm!
I was really looking forward to getting this clock. The lavender color is beautiful, but the main reason was so I could wake up to the "gentle glow." It is not. It is a flashing bright light, and the clock is very bright in its passive mode as well. Cannot use this clock.
