I had to return this twice to get a working alarm, finally on the third try , i got a working alarm. Problem is - the alarm is awful. Very LOUD, there is nothing relaxing about this alarm. You will wake startled from this alarm. As beautiful looking as this clock is , it's not not really suitable if you want a good solid alarm clock, which is what i wanted. So i returned this one . I was sad to , but with that alarm i can't do it.

Very unique and fit well in our home. It was exactly as advertised and a great purchase.
I am delighted with this clock. I purchased the butter yellow color, which is cute and cheerful and fits in nicely with my country decor. I had doubts about waking up to a flashing light, but the clock light is a very soft and a gentle way to wake up.
I really like the look of this clock,nice and bright at night,also just the flash of the clock wakes me up!My 17 year old daughter said wow is that old school! I hate all the modern look, it is nice to have something like I had when I was a kid.
