I read reviews on this clock before buying and decided that if I followed the instructions on setting the clock it should be OK. The look of it really appeals to me and I like the idea of a back lit face and being woke up by flashing white light. The clock has sat on my night table for over a year and it has been just fine. If I wake up during the night, I can just have a quick look to see what time it is without much effort. It is also quiet and the flashing white light wake up call works fine for me.
I have admired this clock online and in the L. L. bean catalog for a long time. I finally decided to order it...in the "retro" pale green.
I love it! The soft light it emits is not too bright but just bright enough so that I can easily see the time ... anytime!
What a great idea to include battery back up. Our neighborhood seems to lose power often and it is comforting to know this little clock will be there softly glowing, electricity on or not.
My grandson, 9, is hoping for one for his room as well. I think the Moonbeam Clock would be a perfect gift for all ages.
This is my second moon beam clock. My first was purchased over 5 years ago and still works great but is now in another bedroom. I love the subtle glow it gives and that is enough to wake me gently before the bell sounds. I purchased it in "Vanilla" and it matches my décor both in the winter and the summer. I love it!!!!!!
