This is a bit of nistalga that's fun to have in the bedroom. The blue lite doesn't do much to wake you up unless it's right next to your eyes. The ring is not overwhelmingly loud but it does wake you up and the snooze is easy to reach without opening your eyes..
On the maiden voyage with this clock, I thought that the backlight might keep me awake. No problem! It's so nice to be able to easily read the time in the dark. Also, the blinking light coupled with the alarm chime is not a bad way to greet the day--even for this reluctant sleepyhead. Bonus: The clock is just fun to have in the bedroom. The style is anything but ordinary.
it hadn't occurred to me that the button to turn off the alarm is on the back of the clock. That doesn't work for me, and I was sorry to have to return it. Otherwise, except for being a little large, it's a beautiful design.
I already have one of these from years ago in a color you used to sell. I got this one as a gift for someone else. Everyone who notices the clock in my house loves it! It almost looks "antique" or "vintage." It works fine, I've never had a moment's trouble with it, and there's no battery to fuss with. Looks terrific in my living room!
